This is a personal blog — entries, photos, and videos meant for people I know,
not the entire internet.
Public websites are crawled constantly: search engines, scrapers, archivers, and AI systems
hoovering up text and images to train models or republish content elsewhere. Once something
is public, you lose control over where it ends up or how it is used.
Keeping the site private lets me write openly and personally with more confidence. Access is
limited to people who request a login link, which keeps the noise out while still making it
easy for old and new friends to read along.
