Pruning the Past

Nothing like removing twelve gigabytes of old data from your hard drive on a Sunday night.

All those emails written from before I even graduated from college? Gone. The yearly archives of IM conversations stretching back to before the new millennium? Pruned until only the last six months remained. Programming and design work back from when EllisLab was still pMachine, Inc? Deleted. Zapped a whole mess of duplicate photos hidden within nested folders too. How many photos of Corporate Dress-Up Day do I really need?! Buh-bye.

I feel a bit lighter.
